The cause is one of the followings.

Touch panel will not respond if the user operates while wearing glove. Please take off the glove before operating.

Touch panel will have weaker response when covered in stains or water particles which might also lead to maloperation. Please wipe the stains/water particles off the touch panel before operating.

The error code will be displayed (number 1 keypad lighting up) after inputting wrong password 5 times in a row and the touch panel will become disabled  for 5 minutes to prevent prank operations.

Please input the password again after 5 minutes have passed.
